World class lawyer Alan Dershowitz, who recently claimed on multiple TV networks that individuals will have no right to stop forced vaccination by the government for COVID-19, recently stated:
“… if they develop an vaccine that only prevents you from getting it, but does not prevent you from transmitting it, I wouldn’t be in favor of compelling that vaccine and I think the Supreme Court would not accept that as rationale…’’
Consider the CDC clearly states the DTaP vaccine does not stop the spread of Diphtheria, Tetanus, or Pertussis, but only offers some protection to the individual, it seems that vaccine choice advocates have a strong legal case against the vaccine mandates for the DTaP vaccine pass in California and New York recently.
CDC statements with links to pages they can be found on:
Tetanus: (https://www.cdc.gov/tetanus/about/index.html) The CDC states“tetanus is different from other vaccine-preventable diseases because it does not spread from person to person.”
Pertussis: (https://www.cdc.gov/pertussis/about/faqs.html) According to the CDC “acellular pertussis vaccines may not prevent colonization (carrying the bacteria in your body without getting sick) or spread of the bacteria”
Diphtheria: (https://www.cdc.gov/diphtheria/clinicians.html) The CDC states “circulation of the bacteria appears to continue in some settings, even in populations with more than 80% childhood vaccination rates. An asymptomatic carrier state can exist even among immune individuals.”
Paul A. Offit, MD, Director of the Vaccine Education Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, recently made the case for vaccine choice:
“… let me see what the data look like, then I’ll tell you if I want to get the vaccine…”
He clearly wants to do his own cost-benefit analysis, as every parent is entitled to do under the principle of informed consent, except in NY and California.
